Air Fryer Oysters Recipe

12 plump fresh oysters, shucked

2 large eggs

1 cup panko or breadcrumbs

½ cup all-purpose flour

3 tbsp hot sauce

½ tsp Creole or Cajun seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking oil spray

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the oyster breading. In one bowl, whisk the eggs and hot sauce together. Put the flour in another. Crush the panko or breadcrumbs a bit more and then place it in a third shallow bowl.
  2. Grab a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.

  6. Set the air fryer to 400F and 2 minutes then start cooking. Shake the fry basket occasionally. Check the doneness of the oysters and cook it more if it hasn’t reached your preferred doneness.
  7. Once done, remove from the fry basket and sprinkle with salt.
